Lace is scalloped at the joints of the front panel. Closed high in back with 2 buttons and a ribbon around the neckline. Size: L 43 1/2 inches. History of Object: Christening gown from the Goodman/Holmes-Haslett family, who were long-time residents of Alameda. Doris Goodman was also involved in the founding of the Little Theater, forerunner of today's Altarena Playhouse. The gown was inherited by the donor and now passed on to the Alameda Museum.
