The base is signed "sterling". The trophy has a stylized repose pennant with red colored enameling. History of Object: Hotel St. Francis trophy with "Won by sloop Presto" inscribed on it and presented to the Corinthian Yacht Club, July 5, 1908. It has a fluted opening similar to a vase.
