Description: Acid-free legal size manila file folder with documents, marked on the reverse with a number in black ink, from 850 to 900.
History of Object: Correspondence with the Board of Trustees, found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s, and refoldered in 2012. The original folder was marked '850-900' on the folder tab. Documents in this folder include or pertain to: bids to provide share in insurance by W.H. Pollard, 1428 Park Street, and Emory O. Tuttle, 1334 Park St; first reports by various boards under new charter; appointment of Fred Croll as Deputy Auditor by Auditor E. Minor Smith; report by Board of Education of lots suitable for creating 'Playgrounds' (two of these easily recognizable as what is now Lincoln and Washington Park), analysis of moving the Electric Light Plant (not this time); resignation of poundmaster Ewing after further complaints; petitions to transfer licenses, Company G to hold a boxing contest; complaints about the state of streets, and a petition to move a house.
