Object: Doll Carriage.
Description:
Wicker covered carriage with an adjustable hood. The carriage and hood is lined in tan colored corduroy. The body of the carriage is attached to a metal frame which terminates into a handle with ebonized grip. It has iron wheels with black rubberized wheel treads. Wicker either painted or stained in original light greenish brown colored finish.
Size: L - 32 x H - 27 X W - 13 inches.
History of Object:
Doll carriage that belonged to the donor as a child, the daughter of George B. and Jean Musso. Mr. Musso owned and operated a shoe repair shop on Park St. in the 1930's. The donor, Lillian Musso Mulzan, attended local schools. Family has lived here since the 1920's.
