Object: Nails, railroad
Description: Iron square nails that appeared to be hand forged, with mushroom tops. 5½" long.
History of Object: The two nails were picked up by Herbert D. Clark on Railroad Avenue (now Lincoln Ave), from the railroad ties which had carried the rails for the steam engine which carried the Overland trains which had as their terminus Webster Street and Lincoln Avenue. The nails fell from the ties as they were being removed.
