History of Object: Correspondence with the Board of Trustees, found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s, and refoldered in 2012. The original folder was marked '451-500' on the folder tab. Documents in this folder include bids to supply the Fire Department feed and hay by Koerber, Jamieson (successors to A. Victors), and Lubben Brothers; resolution to reorganize Fire Department from volunteer organisation to paid organization with auxiliary 'call' men, and disbanding of Whidden Hose Co. No. 2 and Sherman Hose Co. No. 3; complaints by citizens and the Board of Health about garbage being carted through the city and dumped along Bay Island Road; resignation H.M. Pond from Board of Health; resignation G.A. Wiese as superintendent from the Municipal Electric Light Plant, and various building, lights, streets petitions.
