Description: Glass barometer mounted on metal backplate which serves as a temperature gauge. This in turn is mounted in a pseudo wooden frame attached to a circular wooden base. As a decoration, the base has exterior bark. Object hand painted with flowers and leaves in red, blue and green.

History: Household barometer from the home of Lili Matson, lifelong resident of Alameda, who died December 21, 1999 at the age of 93.
