Description: Black buckram notebook, with red leather spine. Fly leaf is of an interesting tan-and green paper. First page has instructions on how to add members’ accounts. Accounts hold names and addresses. Back part is a cash book, heading has the word ‘Temple’
pre-printed, but no name of organization. First page has tally of brothers and sisters for 1926-1930.
Size: L 12 X W 9 1/2 inches.
History: ledger and cash book found in a drawer of a desk, which was once stood in the Hall of the Knights of Pythias, on Oak Street. Desk was bought by William Chun, and moved to storage in the 1970s, where it got eaten by rats.
