Description: A round metal sign, with on one side faded paint, of a yellow color divided with a black 'X' and on two of the fields thus created a black 'R'.
Size: diameter 30 inches
History of Object: Railroad Crossing warning sign that served to warn traffic of the railroad tracks of the Alameda Belt Line. Exact location where this sign was posted is not known, but it is thought to have come from the recent works done to remove the old rails from Blanding Ave. - possibly from Broadway.
