Description: Ornate turned finial (one section of wood), with decomposing green paint.
Size: H-35 inches.
History of Object: Finial removed by the donor (former Park Dept., City of Alameda employee), from the tool shed roof, Jackson Park, Alameda. The donor feels that the shed is of 19th century construction, and could possibly have been part of the bandstand that originally stood in the park and was modified for its present use.
