A: title 'Exhibition of Dancing given by the pupils of Miss Ivy Ford, Neptune Palace Theatre', B. title: '1926 Revue presented by the Pupils of Miss Ivy Ford, Rialto Theatre'.

History of Object: Programs for performances by pupils of Miss Ivy Ford, Dancing Teacher. Includes names from prominent Alameda families of the time, such as Johnson, Ratto, Silva, Thompson, Haas, Rittler, Hinds and more. Miss Ford taught and lived at different addresses in Alameda between 1922-1926 before establishing her dancing school in Oakland. The Neptune Theatre was part of the Neptune Beach enterprise, 1917-1939. The Rialto Theatre opened in 1921, located on the south side of Santa Clara Avenue between Park Avenue and Park Street.
