Attached to this is a circular medallion (celluloid covered lithograph) of St. George slaying the dragon. These in turn are backed by a stripped silk ribbon (in red, white & blue colors). History of Object: Recording Secretary badge "Daughters of St. George" (a fraternal order of ladies of English extraction). Alameda chapter (Golden Poppy Lodge) founded Dec. 14, 1922, disbanded 1976.
