Description: A toy filling station largely of lithographed metal comprising two gas pumps, a service truck, a motor oil cart, an oil can, and a refreshment stand with a service counter (that has a sign above reading: "Roadside Rest Service Station"). Some of the individual pieces are signed "MAR" and "AMERICAN MADE". Some objects are attached to a metal base. Also included is a hard rubber automobile signed "AUBURN RUBBER CORP., AUBURN, IND."
Size: Base: D-10 x W-14 inches.
History of Object: A toy filling station found in the attic of a residence at 2206 Clinton Avenue, Alameda.
