It has a small “I.M.D.” signature and the inscription “GDA France”. The porcelain is attributed to Limoges. Size: H-12” History of Object: A beautifully hand painted vase that was willed to the museum by the late Iraline “Dolly” Wilson, who was a photographer at the Alameda Naval Air Station. This collection of hand painted porcelain vases, originally attributed to Mrs. Wilson's mother, Iraline Dunning, is now attributed to her grandmother, Ida Maude Dunning (nee Dittman, 1875-1957). The women moved to Alameda after WWII; Iraline A. Dunning-Acosta-Litster (1902-1988) and her daughter “Dolly” (Iraline) Wilson (1929-2020?) were longtime residents of Alameda, Dolly ultimately residing at 1105 Central Avenue.
