Description: Loose leaf scrap book with green embossed cover with an imprint of an eagle. The contents are war cartoons, These were taken from the Alameda Times Star, Alameda, Califomia, from December 8, 1942 to December 7, 1943.
Size: 9" X 11" and is 3" thick.
History of Object: It was compiled by Mrs. Frederick Harold Meadow croft (nea Alma Alway). It contains cartoons of World War II taken from the Alameda newspaper, The Alameda Times Star,
Lucinda Predmore at the Modesto, Calif. High School donated them to the California State College, at Stanislaus. Then Mr. Bob Santos, Bibliographer, the College Library, sent the book collection to the Alameda Historical Society in October, 1978.
