Object: Salt/pepper shakers (6pc set).
Description: Two pairs of sterling silver footed salt and pepper containers. The salt containers are with cobalt blue liners with matching pepper shakers. The salt dishes have individual spoons. Signed "stirling" and initials "FESC 808" All four containers are supported by a ram's head upon a hoof design. (They are copies of 18th Century tableware).
Size: pepper containers: 5.25 in. high; salt containers: 1.75 in. high.
History of Object: All pieces are engraved with the initials "S.E.K.". They are thought to possibly be wedding gifts of Robert Hermann Krusi (1889-1945), son of Hermann Krusi, prominent Alameda resident. (Additional research needed here.)
