Decorative design of hand painted leaves (which appears to be unfired) with bands of tan, accentuated with pale gold. Size: H-9 1/4 inches. History of Object: Vase that belonged to Miss. Ida Kelsey. With her brother, she lived in the Dunning house at 2619 Santa Clara Avenue. She was the sister of Mrs. Eli B. Dunning, wife of the Park Street paint merchant. The vase possibly originally belonged to Mrs. Dunning, as her sister (Ida) had inherited the house (2619 Santa Clara Avenue) and its contents upon her death.
