Description:
Circular shaped, gold plated metal, with banding in cobalt blue colored enameling. Center motif of St. George slaying dragon. Medallion is supported by bar pin with chains. On reverse side is engraved John L. Nield, President Albion Lodge #206 Son of St. George 1925-1926.
Size: L - 34 inches.
History of Object:
Medal presented to John L. Nield by the Sons of St. George, a fraternal lodge composed of men of English extraction. Mr. Nield was a longtime resident of Alameda and the Grandfather of the donor.
