It is presented in a square white card stock envelope, stating 'Alameda Japanese American History Project as of Feb 22, 2024 DO NOT TRASH'.
It is accompanied by a computer-printed note with instructions.

History of Object: USB thumbdrive containing all research notes and files - jpgs, pdfs, movies, interviews, stories, for the Alameda Japanese History Project, documenting Japanese families in Alameda CA. The information was also uploaded to the website, Densho.org.Alameda=Densho.org/ajah, and was used to create the exhibit 'Overflowing with Hope' at the Alameda Free Library, from May 17 to July 15, 2023. The information was used in creating 4 signs placed in 2022 and 2023 at locations commemorating Alameda's Japantown, a Japanese American neighborhood in existence until WWII; at the Alameda Free Library; the Buddhist Temple of Alameda; the Buena Vista United Methodist Church; and the Alameda Marketplace on Park Street.
