Accession No: 20.70.2 A & B Subject: Red Cross Dates: 1944 Object Type: Volunteer Nurse's Aide Cap Description: Red Cross Head covering (2), consisting of a piece of blue and tapering white striped cotton forming a T, and a piece of white cotton attached to the bar of the T, with two buttons attached to either end, to be attached to the stem through button holes forming the back. A Red Cross emblem is sewn onto the middle of the white cotton. Size: L 6" X W 14" B. has a label: 99% SHRUNK ; ANOC Quality First ; A.S.W. GRUNDY; DOCTORS & NURSES OUTFITTING CO. 1214 SUTTER ST.
