Description: two irregular shaped remnants of a wallpaper with mesh backing, with stylized floral design in red and moss-green, with pale yellow accents, on a tan background. B is a shade darker than A, this could be the result of exposure to sun or chemicals (smoke).
B has another fragment, which appears to be silver-grey with a green border, attached to the reverse.
Size: approx: A L 10 x W 7 inches, B: approx. L 7 x W 5 1/2 inches.
History of object: Wallpaper sample from 1548 Pacific Avenue, a transitional colonial revival cottage, erected 1896-1897, by Marcuse and Remmel, original owners, Wallace and Mary C. Dinsmore.
