History of Object:
Miscellaneous documents from / to the council and/or mayor of Alameda, started in 1914 with earlier and later additions, found in the attic of City Hall during remodeling in the 1990s. Documents in this folder include: Letters regarding dredging, a broken levee and deposits of silt causing flooding along the Estuary; reports and budgets of various departments for 1914-1915 timeframe; Item 2400 - Fill in of Peoples Water Company High Street (old Thompson property) reservoir. Item 2392; construction of a bulkhead across Liberty Ave; #2a, 2b-c. Includes a bid on stationery of C. J. Hammond, 2127 Pacific Ave.
