Description: Semi porcelain plate, on the reverse side it says "Imperial China" and in parenthesis in fine green script. On the face of the plate has a transfer portrait of a lady holding a bouquet of flowers in the center of an oak leaf, surrounded by variegated shades of green. It has a scalloped edge in gold and an inscription stating "Compliments of H. Browning, Grocery, Alameda".
History of Object: It is a premium plate given out by the Henry Browning Grocery Store, in 1912 he was located at 1525 Webster Street, Alameda.
