Description: Black and white lithographic print attached to charcoal gray colored photograph mounting.
Size: L 7 W 9 inches
History of Object: Print depicting the first house erected in Alameda, 1850 San Jose Avenue between Union and Lafayette Streets. The home was destroyed by a wind storm in 1889. This particular depiction is thought to have been cut from an illustrated copy of the Alameda Argus for 1890. Given to the Museum prior to 1971 and never catalogued.
