History: Book of drawings, copyrighted 1988, by Frank Bette, longtime Alameda resident, artisan and artist, and founder of the Frank Bette Center for the arts. According to the Introduction by Peggy Schmidt, Frank Bette started drawing with his left hand out of fear that arthritis would prevent him from creating art.
