Object: hockey stick
Description: a wooden object, with the end bending at an angle to forming a thinner foot at one end, and, after a tapering, a straight rectangular shaped top. The bottom section is wound with strips of black tape, which may have extended in a spiral to the top, leaving a section unwrapped. In this section are remnants of a label, which appear to state 'Manufactured by B. Salyer DS., High Grade Hockey Stick'. A modern label, with black background and white type, has been added stating 'Alameda High Hockey Team 1931'.
Size: L approx. 5 ft.
History of Object: Hockey stick, apparently used by the Alameda High School Hockey Team of 1931.
