Cover heading "Our Marriage Vow" (in incised gold lettering) & "Samuel Montgomerie Haslett, Harriet Susan Holmes, September 1, 1887,"(incised lettering in gold), decorated with gold & silver lily-of-the-valley.
Size: L-6 3/4 x W-4 1/2 inches.
History of Object: Wedding book containing marriage certificate of Samuel M. & Harriet Susan Haslett, dated Sept 1, 1887. They were married at Christ Church, Alameda (present site of the Alameda City Hall, Santa Clara Avenue & Oak Street).
