Object: Recess and fire bell.
Description: Brass bell, flat disc shaped, held by an acorn shaped nut. The bell is mounted on a cast iron mechanism which by pulling a wire rings the bell. The bell is mounted on a wooden board 16" X 12", the brass bell measures 10½" in circumference.
History of Object: The Haight School recess and fire bell prior to 1910.
