Size: H-7” x B-6 1/2” History of Object: A decorative Nippon pitcher made prior to 1921 from the museum collection of Ms. Carolyn Potter, a teacher at Washington School. Ms. Potter had in her classroom a display of artifacts and oddities for her pupil’s edification. After her death, the Board of Education donated this pitcher, and other items, to the Alameda Museum in the 1950's, but until now, it was never cataloged.
