Japanese motif of a bouquet of flowers arranged in a basket (appears on 3 pieces). History of Object: Christmas gift (1908) of a four piece doll's dresser set given to Alaska Lutjeus Blair, youngest daughter of Capt. Charles C. Lutjeus. Mrs. Blair was born in Alameda and still occupies the home her parents purchased in 1898, at 1717 San Antonio Avenue, Alameda. Quoting from Mrs. Blair: Christmas-1908. Santa Claus left this doll's dresser set, 1717 San Antonio Ave., under the Christmas tree, for the youngest daughter of Capt. Charles C. Lutjeus's family."
