History of Object: Papers found in the attic of City Hall prior to renovations in the 1990s. Papers include:
- 1918 letter from Arthur O. Gott, Jeweler and Optometrist, 1363 Park Street, to Mayor and council, suggesting white markings on intersections to direct traffic.
- 1918 letter from Edward K. Taylor, Attorney, from 1404 Park Street, expressing concern about rumors about shifting passenger service to the Oakland mole.
- 1917 invitation from a San Francisco firm to observe a demo of road work vehicles.
