Description: Plain pottery (glazed) ale bottle (raised lip), egg shell white in color. Circular incised marking on side of bottle stating "Murray & Co., 7. Glascow." Size: H-8 1/2 x (base) C-2 3/4 inches.
History of Object: Ale bottle (one of two) excavated from the back yard of 1919 Pacific Avenue, a commercial building erected in 1878.
