History of Objects: Plaster pieces used on the exteriors of homes designed by Marcuse and Remmel. The pieces were encountered in 1979, on a pallet covered with wooden planks, in the basement of 939 Taylor, built by Marcuse and Remmel in 1896. It is assumed these were left-over or broken pieces, either intended for patching, or could be they were to be discarded and were forgotten instead.
