Description: Oblong oval pressed glass (clear) bread plate with central motif of an American eagle with banner stating "Liberty and Freedom-1776." Raised lettering around plate rim states "Give Us This Day. Our Daily Bread."
Size: L-9 x W-12 1/2 inches.
History of Object: American pressed glass bread plate entitled "Centennial with Eagle," issued during the Centennial Exposition of 1876. The plate belonged to the H. H. Meyers family, 2021 Alameda Avenue.
