Documents found in City Hall attic during remodel in the 1990s, placed in a new folder after donation to the museum in 2011. Tab of original folder (now discarded) stated: "Departments - Police 1951-1953". Correspondence and programs for police and peace officer training and conventions. Police women Cecilia Robinson and Florence attended a Women’s Peace Officers conference. Folder also contains information about specific cases, including erroneous parking tickets, deserters, and a case of alleged police brutality, against longshoreman Frank Nereu (Nov 24, 1952)
