Description: Doll is twenty-three inches in length. An original paper label is sewn to the back of the linen body stating that it is a "Chase Stockinet Doll". Legs from the knees down are painted canvas as well as the arm from elbow to hand. The hand being well molded. It has a shoulder head, the head is attached to the body. It has molded ears. It has hand painted features. There are heavy brush strokes to emulate blond hair.
Clothes: Silk bonnet worn by Miss Eleanor Clark when she was one year old. The white underslip, stockings, and shoes were also worn by her. The outer dress is a white Victorian christening gown 45" in length. It is completely hand sewn, the entire front of the dress being open lace. It is an American made doll.
