History of Object: An autograph album with personal handwritten messages, some signed "Alameda." The album originally belonged to the family of Edward A. Meyers (Myers), a millhand who resided at 2005 Clement Ave. Occasionally the name is spelled "Myers," as in the 1912 City Directory. This album was left by an anonymous donor at the office of the Alameda Sun weekly newspaper.
