Copies of articles by Woodruff ('Woody') Minor as appeared in various newspapers during the period 1978-1994, eventually called the 'Heritage' column, and index thereto. From the post-it notes, it appears the papers were copied for Alameda Curator George Gunn, and the index was compiled by Alameda Reference Desk Librarian Lynne Cuttler, presumably around 1994. The index is alphabetical by subject.
The following are included: articles from the Time-Star, 1978-1979; Alameda Directory, 1989; Island Journal, 1982-1984; Alameda Journal 1987-January 1993; an article from the Alameda Journal, December 1993; and articles from the Alameda Journal, 1993-1994. The topics researched range from individual houses, to businesses, ferries, etc.
