History of Object: Documents found in the attic of City Hall prior to renovation in the 1990s, pertaining to Building issues, such as the Uniform Building Code as set down by the Pacific Coast Building Officials Conference, and changes; wages for workmen and mechanics for public work; suggestion (1932) by City Manager Bryant to buy dilapidated wooden buildings on Government Island, to give the wood to the unemployed. Also petition to build a marquee for the Alameda Theatre (28–15).
