History of Object: Article about a historical exhibit presented by the California Railway Historical Society at the annual Alameda hobby show, at the Alameda High School gym, sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. The exhibit included more than 200 pictures. The article gives a history of railroads in Alameda and printed 3 images from the collection on display; a big red car, the 2088 engine that blew up in 1903, and an image of passengers boarding a steam train in 1910.
