Description:
The footrest is cut out piece of hardwood with a hole for hanging. The second unit swivels on iron screw and nut. This piece is a looped grip made from one bent piece of wood. There are two rests that are screwed on to this. Size: Unfolded it is 23" in length. Its widest point is 4½".
History of Object: Old fashioned bootjack for pulling off boots.
This was used by Mr. Louis Bruzzone eighty-one years ago (in 1954).
