Description: Ornately printed diploma with gold seal, signed in script by I. W. Snowden, Principal, and Paden, Superintendent of Schools. In the upper left hand corner is a section of ribbon, in gold and black (Haight School colors), which was worn by graduating students. The diploma is housed in a pale gold frame, slightly embossed with a decorative
pattern.
Size: 12¼x9½ inches.
History of Object: Diploma awarded to Bernice Edith Sohlin, from Haight School, 1925. Bernice was the daughter of Capt. John A. Sohlin, longtime shipmaster for the Alaska Packers Association.
