September 2020 edition of the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society (formerly the Alameda Victorian Society and Alameda Victorian Preservation Society). This edition features an article against a measure on the 2020 ballot, which would have allowed higher density on the island, and remove the Measure A from 1973. The opposition - in favor for higher density in specific areas, would have brought the city in compliance with affordable housing targets. Also in this edition is an announcement from the legacy home tour committee for a self-guided, virtual walk through the Bay Station Heritage Area of Marcuse & Remmel buildings, with historians Woody Minor and Judith Lynch, on-line, because of the COVID pandemic.
