L 14 3/4" X W 9" History of Object: Folder found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s. The documents in this folder pertain to plans to create crossings of the San Francisco Bay in addition to the Bay Bridge. Includes reports from the State Department of Public Works with blueprints, report from the State Highway Department, and 1947-1948 correspondence about a rough drawing which suggested an approach needing demolition of a number of dwellings and a school, and 1951 correspondence from NAS commander Lamade to Mayor Branscheid.
