Subject of the design is multiple squares with alternating pattern; one square with a marbleized effect, bordered with a square, enclosing a medallion. The color of the paper is shades of green on a white background.

History of Object: Kitchen wallpaper from 1405 Caroline Street, Alameda. A Queen Anne cottage erected 1893.
