Description: Clear glass bottle, half-pint size, raised lettering in circular label "Innes Dairy, 2140 San Jose Ave." The bottle has a protruding lip containing original paper stopper, cream colored with blue printing "Innis Dairy, Pure Milk and Cream; phone Alameda 841; 2140 San Jose Ave."
Size: 5½" tall
History of Object: The dairy was located in the rear yard of the residence at 2140 San Jose Avenue, Alameda. They had a bar to house the horses that pulled the dairy wagons here. This was the distribution and bottling station, the milk being brought from somewhere outside of Alameda.
