Description: A straight chair with a balloon back base. American rococo-revival style. The chair has an open back with cresting and back splat which appear to be machine and hand carved. Carving is also included on the lower frame and two front legs. It has been recently reupholstered in a vertical striped silk brocade of a dark wine color.
