History of Object: Book containing rules and minutes of the Royal Athletic Club previously known as the Royal Swim Club. The organization was founded in 1899 and consisted of boys who lived in the vicinity of Weber Street where their club house was located. Object donated to the Alameda historical Society, numbered 242, prior to 1971 and never catalogued.
