Description: Newspaper clipping glued to dated(printed) journal page (iined). Size: journal page- 7 x 8¼ inches, clipping- 10 3/4 x 2½ inches. Under the clipping is a typed list of names rubber stamped with the date "Dec 6, 1917". Size, 2 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches.
History of Object: Newspaper clipping in reference to Unitarian Club of Alameda. It was founded in 1896 and was comprised of prominent Alameda citizens. The clipping tells of a proposed dinner to be held at the Hotel Oakland for former members of the club. The club was disbanded in 1915. List of typed names is included with the clipping, they being invited guests.
