Acc. No. 81.268.3 Subject Category: Businesses, Coal yard Date or Period: 1916 Object: Calendar Description: Printed calendar, subject scene of river with trees in background. Print in pale colors which appears as if it is an original water color. This is mounted in paper fasteners to an off-white background sheet which contains a calendar booklet, dated 1916 (fastened to the bottom of the calendar) and the inscription in blue type in upper left hand corner "Greetings of the Season from A. H. W. Koerber, Phone Alameda 442". The same blue color is repeated as trim around the printed scene and edge of calendar. The top of the panel is pierced and a blue ribbon is tied through the holes for hanging. Size: 7½" x 14". History of Object: Source: Polk-Husted City Directory, 1917 A. H. W.
